Supporting the Formation of Junior Golfers

Landcom is a special sponsor of the Japan Junior Golf Association, an organization that supports the formation of junior golfers.

●Landcom Ranking
Players belonging to six boys and girls divisions are ranked according to their results in junior golf competitions organized by the JJGA. The total number of points won at each competition is divided by the number of tournaments participated in, and the obtained average is used as the basis for the ranking of each player. As part of this Landcom ranking,

  1. An annual champion is selected and awarded a scholarship.
  2. All Japan Team players are selected and awarded a Team Award.
  3. Higher-ranked players can participate in JJGA Junior Golf Tournaments and open tournaments.

Furthermore, in the Land Cup Triple Tournament, the top three players in each of the four Junior Competition Divisions (Junior High School, High School, Boys/Girls) (thus a total of 12 players) are seeded for the Golf Digest Japan Junior Cup.

Land Cup Triple Tournament

Starting in 2001, Landcom has been sponsoring the Land Cup Triple Tournament. This tournament consists of three divisions, Pro, Amateur, and Junior. The Pro Division offers a springboard for the future, and the Junior Division has as its principal aim to teach the youngsters who will lead the next generation important human themes such as the joy of achieving goals and the meaning of following rules, through golf.

Furthermore, part of the participation fees for golf tournaments are donated to the Kanagawa Fund for the Welfare of Disabled Children, and these monies are used as funds for the formation of junior golfers.
We energetically carry out these activities as a duty as a member of society, and as part of the "social communication we are now capable of."

Support of Junior Skateboard Classes

At the 26th Yokohama Port Opening Festival, junior skateboard classes sponsored by Landcom were held. Professional skateboarders taught children the fun of hands and feet skateboarding. The classes were attended by lots of kids accompanied by their parents.
